Look into local marriage laws and requirements, potential ceremony permits, how accessible your ideal spot is, and the average weather conditions for your chosen location. Have an activity you want to incorporate or a specific meal or drink to celebrate the day? Now’s the time to start looking into the possibilities.
It may sound daunting, but don’t worry, I’ll be right by your side. I will help you find the right trails, scenic viewpoints, create a day-of timeline, find potential vendors, lodging, and more. If you feel like you’ve gotten stuck along the way, don’t be afraid to ask for help!

Select that dreamy elopement location and keep in mind, it doesn’t have to be an exact spot. You can start by picking a general area for your ceremony - this will make lodging and travel easier to book. As for the exact spot where you’ll exchange vows? That can be a surprise spot that unveils itself on the big day or scouted out beforehand. And remember, we’re not nailing down every tiny detail yet. Just the biggies that’ll start forming the outline of your dream elopement.
